Nursery Ministry at St. Mark

Child and Nursery AttendantOur Youth & Family Ministry Program
Mission Statement:

To equip our church family to become
fully developing followers of Christ
by growing in faith and serving others.

St. Mark's Children Ministry is geared for young persons aged 3 years up through 6th grade. During the school year educational opportunities are offered both on Wednesday evenings on Sunday mornings.

We offer a professionally staffed nursery on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for newborns and children up to 3 years old.

Nursery

Children birth through 3 years are welcome in our nursery. The nursery is open every Wednesday evening while activities are in session and on Sunday mornings. Located next to the adult education classroom, the nursery is open 15 minutes before Worship or an event and remains open for the duration of the activity. Children in NurseryPlease remember to be prompt in picking up your children after each event is over.

The Nursery at St. Mark provides a safe, fun, and nurturing Christian environment for the young children of Church members, visitors, and the St. Mark community during the time that parents attend worship or non-worship church-sponsored ministries or programs.

Nursery attendants and paid assistants are easily identifiable by their staff name tags. There is one trained nursery attendant on duty anytime that the nursery is open. We hope to maintain a ratio of 1 adult per 5 infants/toddlers in the nursery area.

Tiny Tots

Come and have fun with your kids at Tiny Tots. Free Music class for kids ages 0 to 5 years old on Friday mornings 9:30-10:15, a snack is provided. Contact Cynnamon Brown (cynnamon@stmarkwdm.org) or Deb Paul (deb@stmarkwdm.org) with any questions.

We are happy to announce that St Mark now has a playground on the property for children from the community and our congregation to play on! The playground was built by a dedicated group of congregation members and can now be enjoyed by all! Stop by and see the new playground on the northwest corner of the building! (Adult supervision is required on the playground at all times. Thanks!)
