High School Student Ministry at St. Mark

The mission of St. Mark’s Student Ministry:
To equip our church family to become fully developing
followers of Christ by growing in faith and serving others.

High School Youth Group

High School YouthSt Mark's high school youth group meets every Sunday night between 6:00-8:00pm in the church youth room. Each week we get together in a fun and "easy-going" atmosphere just for high school students. The nights consist of games, bible studies, scavenger hunts, discussions on relevant, teen-related topics, and service projects. Each week we grow in friendship and faith together and we would love to have you join us this Sunday!!

Sunday Mornings & Wednesday Evenings for High Schoolers

On Sundays and Wednesdays we encourage our youth to be active members of the church by participating in worship, Sunday school teaching, our praise team, or our Wednesday night WOW programming. Since we have so many options each youth can participate in things that truly interest them!

Summer Mission TripSummer Mission Trip

Each summer our youth are honored to go on a summer mission trip. Last summer, 2005, they went to Taylorsville, North Carolina and spent a week painting and repairing homes. The trip was fully funded by their fundraising efforts thanks to our wonderful congregation! This trip impacted the lives of our youth greatly and opening their hearts to service at home and across the nation!

ELCA National Youth Gathering Trip

Every three years our high school youth take a trip to the ELCA National Youth Gathering. This summer they are headed to San Antonio, TX. These gatherings help the youth to grow in faith in a large community of high school Christians. It is wonderful to see the kids worshipping, playing games, attending bible studies, and having fun with other youth from around the country!
